Neil M. Kaufman

The managing member of Kaufman McGowan PLLC in Hauppauge, New York, a leading corporate and securities law firm, Neil M. Kaufman serves as corporate and securities counsel to companies driving the fast-growing cannabis sector. Widely regarded as a top corporate cannabis attorney nationwide, he has become a prominent voice in New York and Long Island’s corporate and securities legal circles.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Kaufman has represented emerging growth companies, middle‐market enterprises, public corporations and investment firms in a wide array of matters, including corporate governance, securities compliance, financing and borrowing arrangements, merger and acquisition transactions and complex commercial contracts.
