Jenna DiBenedetto

Jenna is an Associate in the Litigation Department of O'Connell and Aronowitz, where she focuses her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice matters.  She approaches each case with strategic discipline and a steady, client-first mindset - making it a priority that clients understand what is happening, what comes next, and why each step matters.  Clients value Jenna's ability to combine clear, compassionate guidance with strong advocacy.  She takes pride in building genuine relationships and pursuing the best possible outcome with focus, professionalism, and care.

Jenna has been instrumental in securing several personal injury and medical malpractice settlements.  Most recently, she assisted in securing two medical malpractice settlements, each in excess of six million dollars.

Jenna is a leader in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) which is an association of more than fifty-six thousand trial lawyers worldwide.  She is an active member of the AAJ Leader's Forum and serves as a Representative to AAJ's Board of Governors for the New Lawyers Division.  Jenna participates in AAJ's National Law School and Trial Lawyers Care™ Committees and is a member of The Injury Board, a national community of personal injury attorneys committed to consumer safety.  Jenna has been named to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2025.

Jenna earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School, graduating with a Certificate in Civil Litigation with Honors and induction into the National Order of Barristers.  During law school, she received the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association Prize and the Wann Family Prize for Excellence in Business Law and Litigation.  She also distinguished herself in advocacy competitions, including recognition as a finalist in the Donna Jo Morse Negotiations Competition and receiving a Brief Award in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition.  Jenna earned her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University.  Before joining the firm, Jenna developed a strong foundation in advocacy through public service roles, including experience with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York and as a Certified Legal Intern with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

When she is not working, Jenna enjoys exploring new recipes and cuisines, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
