Lisa Taber

Attorney Lisa F. Taber is a partner at Sciocchetti Taber, PLLC, a boutique full-service business and commercial real estate law firm located just outside of Albany, New York. The firm’s concentration in real estate law and commercial transactions is fundamental to its success.

At the firm, Lisa specializes in complex financing and property transactions. She represents borrowers, lenders, developers, builders, investors, and sellers. Lisa has forged a reputation as being thorough, attentive, and detailed. Her trademark fine tooth comb approach has proven to be an invaluable asset to her clients. It has resulted in her closing well over 100 million dollars’ worth of loan transactions and being selected to represent some of the area’s leading commercial lenders and developers. She also has experience in tax credit equity financing, entity matters and helping her clients navigate through the economic development process.

Lisa is a graduate of Western New England University School of Law, where she was a merit scholarship recipient and a Dean’s List graduate.
She remains active in the legal community, being a member of the Albany County Bar Association, the New York State Women’s Bar Association, the Capital District Women’s Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association. 

Lisa is a staunch supporter of women throughout the Capital Region. She is a member of the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Business Council and Capital Region Women@Work. She was recently selected to become a member of the Women Presidents Organization, where she provides insight in a group setting in an effort to facilitate growth and independence for women, both locally and on a national level.

Lisa is a passionate advocate for the American Cancer Society, serving as a member of the Board of Advisors and having chaired the Organization’s Gala of Hope for three consecutive years.

Along with being selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2016 to date, Lisa was selected as an Albany Business Review 40 Under 40 Honoree and is repeatedly recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction.
