Roseanne earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law where she was on the Dean’s List. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree magna cum laude from Long Island University at C.W. Post. As an undergraduate, Ms. Beovich concentrated her studies in social work and psychology, which has been invaluable to her skills as an attorney and advocate for the elderly, disabled and the health care facilities who provide care for this population.
In 2019, Minneapolis-based Law & Politics publishers of Super Lawyers magazines announced that Roseanne had been named as a Rising Star Attorney. Super Lawyers, published in the New York Times Magazine is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in their respective fields. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor.
Roseanne has experience handling elder law, trust and estate matters and guardianship cases. She interned for Mental Hygiene Legal Services where she handled Article 81 guardianship proceedings and inpatient psychiatric hospital legal issues. As a respite counselor at Family and Children’s Association, she mentored children with emotional disabilities.
Roseanne is certified by the Office of Court Administration to serve as Court Evaluator, Counsel for Alleged Incapacitated Persons and Guardian for Incapacitated Persons. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates section of the New York State Bar Association. Roseanne is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and lives in Oyster Bay with her husband.
