William C. Tock

William C. Tock is an accomplished attorney who has recently joined the Law Offices of Joseph J. Tock in Mahopac, New York, following a successful seven-year career practicing law in New York City. His practice includes areas of:

Graduating from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English language and literature in 2013, Mr. Tock earned a law degree from New York Law School. In law school, he was honored with the Helen & Andrew Dokas Memorial Award for Excellent Achievement.

Mr. Tock brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as an assistant district attorney in Bronx County within the Narcotics & Gangs Investigations Bureau. During his tenure, he handled criminal cases from arraignment through trial, focusing on drug-related offenses. This role provided him with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system, which he now leverages to empathize with clients and guide them through complex legal processes.

In addition to his experience in criminal law, Mr. Tock worked at a large private firm in Manhattan, focusing on civil litigation. There, he represented health care professionals, including doctors, nurses and hospitals, in legal matters. This experience is particularly beneficial in his current practice areas, which include personal injury and negligence, as he has an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and has managed numerous civil depositions.

Mr. Tock is admitted to practice law in New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He is an active member of several professional associations, including the Bronx County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
