Amanda R. Disken

Amanda R. Disken is the principal attorney of The Disken Law Firm, P.C., located in Massapequa, New York. Serving clients throughout Long Island, her practice spans a wide range of focus areas, more specifically commercial and general civil litigation and appeals, including, but not limited to, defamation, tortious interference, Anti-SLAPP, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, specific performance, and commercial and residential construction disputes.  Ms. Disken also handles vehicle seizure and forfeiture defense having a unique background in these matters.    She also handles residential real-estate closings and property disputes, employment matters, various small business needs, and select criminal defense. 

Ms. Disken is a Hofstra University alumna who earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology with a minor in Political Science. Her academic career served as the cornerstone for a successful career in law. She continued her education at the Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Disken was honored to intern for the Senior United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt. As a result of her experience in both large and small law firms, she knows what kind of lawyer her clients want and expect: someone who will fight tirelessly on their behalf, give them honest advice, and keep them updated every step of the way. Those considerations are given top priority in her individual practice.
