Garrett Kaske

Garrett Kaske is an associate at Kessler Matura P.C.. Located in the firm's office in Melville, New York, he focuses his practice exclusively on employment law matters, representing clients throughout Long Island and other parts of the greater New York City metropolitan area. Admitted to practice before all New York state courts since 2014, Mr. Kaske is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mr. Kaske has provided advice and counsel to current, former and prospective employees on a variety of matters. A significant portion of his practice involves the representation of people who have been the victims of discrimination that is prohibited under federal and state laws, and his caseload has included Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the New York State Human Rights Law. Other matters that he has worked on have included sexual harassment, wrongful terminations and other acts of illegal retaliation, and wage and hour violations governed by the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Kaske has represented both individual plaintiffs and members of a certified class, and he has been able to obtain favorable results on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Kaske has been called upon to deliver presentations to fellow attorneys on topics related to his practice area. His professional memberships include the National Employment Lawyers Association/New York and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association.  He is also a co-chair of the Labor and Employment Committee of the National Lawyers Guild - New York City Chapter. A magna cum laude graduate of St. Joseph's College, Mr. Kaske obtained his legal education at The City University of New York School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2013.
