Stacey Meshnick

Stacey Meshnick serves as counsel to Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP, in their trusts & estates and elder law practice groups, where she focuses her practice on long-term care planning, estate planning and the preparation of wills, trusts, advance directives and guardianships. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role, having previously served as counsel and the supervisor of the Medicaid department at another firm for over 27 years.

During her tenure at her previous firm, Ms. Meshnick was responsible for overseeing the paralegals and assisting clients with a variety of needs related to long-term care and estate planning. Her work included the preparation of wills and trusts, crafting advance directives, and handling Medicaid planning and applications. This extensive background makes her a valued member of her current firm, where she continues to provide comprehensive legal solutions to her clients.

Ms. Meshnick is recognized for her significant contributions to the field of strategic Medicaid planning. She is also known for her dedicated advocacy on behalf of her clients, ensuring that their legal needs and best interests are effectively represented and addressed. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Meshnick is an active educator and speaker. Ms. Meshnick is admitted to practice in the New York State Bar. She completed her undergraduate studies at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1996. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America.
