A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the New York Law School, Mr. Perlmutter was an articles editor for the New York Law School International Comparative Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Association. He returns to his law school annually as a judge of various moot court competitions including the Robert F. Wagner Labor and Employment Moot Court Competition.

A member of the Rockland County Bar Association’s Employment Law Committee, Mr. Perlmutter also has affiliations with the New York City Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, as well as the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He volunteers his time to serve as an Early Settlement Panelist in Bergen County, during which he reviews pending divorce and family law cases to make recommendations regarding potential settlements to help others resolve their matters. Previously, he was a member of the Human Resources Committee with the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, where he lectured on various topics related to employment law.
