Ariel S. Zitrin

Ariel S. Zitrin is the founding member and managing partner of AZ & CB Law & Consulting, located in New Rochelle, New York, where she offers strategic legal counsel and advocacy to clients navigating complex education, municipal and litigation matters. Her practice covers schools and education law, special education law, general education law, school discipline, school law, municipal law, torts, general litigation and organizational development. She is committed to helping educational institutions, organizations, and individuals address challenging legal and operational issues with practical, client-focused solutions.

Ms. Zitrin brings nearly two decades of legal experience to her practice, representing clients in a wide range of matters involving education and public sector law. In addition to her legal work, she incorporates organizational development principles into her practice, helping clients strengthen leadership, communication and institutional effectiveness. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach matters with both legal insight and organizational strategy.

Admitted to practice in New York since 2005, Ms. Zitrin is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She remains active in the legal community through her involvement with the Westchester County Bar Association, where she serves as co-chair of both the Ethics and Professionalism Committee and the Education Law Committee.

Ms. Zitrin earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, cum laude, from the Honors Program at the University of Delaware in 2001. She received her Juris Doctor from the Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2004. In 2024, she obtained her Organization Development Certified Professional credential from the Institute of Organization Development. She also serves as an attorney adviser for the mock trial team at The Ursuline School.
