Adam J. Tynan

Currently serving clients in the Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn areas, Adam Joseph Tynan is a dedicated attorney who vigorously advocates for individuals and families who have suffered personal injuries. Working from his office at Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf in New York, he handles cases involving medical malpractice, construction accidents, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, brain injury and maritime injuries.

After graduating from Muhlenberg College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics, Mr. Tynan pursued his law degree. He obtained his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. While in law school, he served as an executive board member of the Moot Court Association and Trial Competition Team. He also received the Moot Court Award for serving with distinction. In 2023, he was admitted to practice in New York and is further licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Starting his legal career, serving as an assistant corporation counsel for the New York City Law Department, Mr. Tynan gained deep knowledge of legal proceedings. He worked in the Special Litigation Unit, where he represented various city agencies in cases involving catastrophic injuries. During his service, he completed several depositions, motions, oral arguments, conferences, settlements and trials.
