Adam Konta is a senior partner and lead trial attorney at the law firm of Konta, Georges & Buza, P.C., representing clients throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
Mr. Konta focuses his practice on civil rights, criminal defense and personal injury matters. In his criminal defense practice, he handles cases involving drug crimes, sex crimes, police brutality and white-collar crime. He serves clients throughout the New York City metropolitan region in areas, including Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island and Queens.
Mr. Konta has more than a decade of experience providing personalized service and dedicated representation to each client. Over the course of his career, he has successfully defended individuals charged with serious crimes, including attempted murder, embezzlement, DWI, grand larceny, rape and sex trafficking.
Recognized as one of New York’s top attorneys, Mr. Konta has been selected to the Super Lawyers annual list consistently since 2018.
Prior to founding Konta, Georges & Buza, P.C., Mr. Konta served as a public defender in New York City. This role enabled him to develop and cultivate his litigation skills as he defended individuals accused of various misdemeanors and felonies. He also practiced at a criminal defense firm in Richmond, Virginia.
In addition to serving as a senior partner of the firm, Mr. Konta enjoys staying involved in his legal community. He is an active member of the New York City Bar Association.
Mr. Konta earned a bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, and received his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. He holds an active license to practice law in all New York state courts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
