Adrienne Woods is a distinguished partner at Weinberg Zareh Malkin Price LLP in New York City, where she spearheads the firm's Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Practice. With a keen focus on bankruptcy law, she offers innovative and strategic counsel to both individuals and businesses, guiding them through the complexities of financial restructuring to achieve their business and personal objectives.

With over two decades of experience in the field, Ms. Woods has adeptly represented clients under chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Her competence spans the full spectrum of bankruptcy practice, encompassing both transactional and litigation aspects. She assists creditors in asserting claims against bankruptcy estates, advises on the acquisition and sale of distressed assets and navigates the intricacies of avoidance actions. Additionally, she defends and prosecutes rights under executory contracts and leases, provides guidance on claims trading and represents parties in appellate proceedings.

Ms. Woods' practice is remarkably versatile, having served clients across a diverse array of industries, including homeless shelters, hospitality, oil and gas, aviation, fitness, entertainment, consumer goods, retail, alternative energy, health supplements, casinos, real estate and health care. Her notable cases include representing debtors and creditors in high-profile bankruptcy proceedings such as Acorn Real Property Acquisition, Inc., Arche USA, Inc., Armada New York LLC, CSLT Enterprises LLC and Dueto of Second Avenue, Inc., among others.

A proud alumna of the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Woods graduated with a B.A. in 1996 and went on to earn her J.D. from Fordham Law School in 2004. She was licensed in New York in 2005 and remains an active member of the legal community, contributing to the New York City Bar Association and serving as a faculty member at TRT CLE, where she shares her insights on bankruptcy law.

Ms. Woods' legal journey began as a law clerk for the Honorable Alan L. Gropper, a former United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, she honed her skills at two nationally acclaimed law firms, focusing on creditors’ rights and complex financial restructurings. 

In 2013, Ms. Woods founded her own law firm, dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality service to individual and small business clients. Earlier in her career, she also served as a bankruptcy legal analyst in Arlington, Virginia, where she combined legal research with business intelligence.
