Alan M. Greenberg

A zealous attorney with more than three decades of legal experience, Alan M. Greenberg has achieved multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients in New York City and the surrounding areas. He focuses his practice primarily on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing people who have been harmed by the negligence of others in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability and defective products.

A New York native, Mr. Greenberg attended Yeshiva University and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1982. Staying at Yeshiva, he enrolled at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1986 and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Following law school, Mr. Greenberg joined a New York City plaintiff's personal injury firm and rose to the level of partner before founding his current firm in 1996, and he has represented hundreds of clients since that time. In a 2010 landmark case, Mr. Greenberg secured a seven-figure verdict for his clients in a wrongful death matter. The victim, killed by a falling tree limb sustained less than 10 seconds of pain and suffering before dying. The verdict included an award for $350,000.00, a record for 4-8 seconds of conscious pain and suffering. Admitted to practice before all New York state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Placing a strong emphasis on service to his profession, Mr. Greenberg lectures frequently on personal injury law matters at continuing legal education seminars. He is an active participant in the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Dean’s Leadership Circle and the American Association for Justice. In addition, Mr. Greenberg is a member of the board of directors of both the Jewish Lawyers Guild and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
