Alexander D. Tuttle

As a founding partner at Tuttle Yick LLP, Mr. Tuttle provides dedicated legal services to clients throughout New York and nationally. He focuses his practice on real estate and construction transactions and litigations, and he has an established track record of representing individual and institutional clients that include owners, developers, real estate investment trusts, contractors, architects, designers, and consultants.

Mr. Tuttle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. He then went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and later received a Masters of Science in real estate from New York University.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Tuttle has successfully negotiated design, consulting, contractor, and license agreements for mid and high-rise multi-family ground up developments and renovations, office and retail tenant buildouts, commercial office/warehouse new construction, and high-end townhouse gut renovations in all boroughs of New York and nationally, ranging from $1 million to $100 million construction cost. Mr. Tuttle further serves as corporate counsel to New York and internationally based real estate, contractor, and architectural firms in business transactions, contracts, corporate structuring, dispute resolution and ownership transitions.

As an experienced litigator, Mr. Tuttle has successfully litigated and obtained favorable money judgments, injunctive relief, and settlements for real estate developers, contractors, and design professionals in connection with affordable housing and market rate developments, commercial leases, townhouse renovations, and condominium conversions. 

In order to best serve his clients, Mr. Tuttle is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
