As a founding partner of Tuttle Yick LLP in 2012, Alex provides dedicated legal services to clients throughout New York and nationally. Over the course of his career, Alex has successfully negotiated design, consulting, contractor, and license agreements for mid and high-rise multi-family ground up developments and renovations, office and retail tenant buildouts, commercial office/warehouse new construction, and high-end townhouse gut renovations in all boroughs of New York and nationally, ranging from $1 million to $100 million construction cost. Alex further serves as corporate counsel to New York and internationally based real estate, contractor, and architectural firms in business transactions, contracts, corporate structuring, dispute resolution and ownership transitions.
As an experienced litigator, Alex has successfully litigated and obtained favorable money judgments, injunctive relief, and settlements for real estate developers, contractors, and design professionals in connection with affordable housing and market rate developments, commercial leases, townhouse renovations, and condominium conversions.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, and a Masters of Science in real estate from New York University. Alex is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
