Mr. Paykin completed his undergraduate studies in 2002, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from Stony Brook University. With a fervent desire to pursue law, he enrolled at the Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the National Lawyers Guild, OUTLaw, Phi Alpha Delta and the National Democratic Law Students Council. After receiving his Juris Doctor in 2006, he served as president and CEO of a financial consulting operation that provided solutions for consumers facing excessive debt. In 2010, he obtained his license to practice in New York.

With his resilience to achieve his clients’ goals with efficiency and care, Mr. Paykin has gained the adulation of his peers for promoting a healthy, client-centric practice that caters to individuals from all walks of life. He is peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and has been awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who in American Law. In addition, he holds a perfect “10.0” rating on Avvo, along with many positive client testimonials.

Mr. Paykin chairs the NYSBA Standing Committee on Technology and the Legal Profession and serves on numerous committees, including the ABA TechShow Board, the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center, the Technology & Resource Center of ABA GPSolo, the CPLR Committee, the NYSBA Law Practice Management Committee, the ABA Ethics and Professionalism Committee, the ABA Law Firm Finance Committee, the ABA Business Development Committee, the ABA Real Estate, Condemnation and Trust Litigation Committee, and the Committee on Law, Youth and Citizenship (where he also serves on the High School Mock Trial Subcommittee). Beyond his professional roles, he is active in community service as President of Brighter Tomorrows Inc., a domestic-violence shelter network on Long Island, and as a dedicated Rotarian, past club president, Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society member, and Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation. He has also served on the board of General Needs, Ltd., coached the Ezra Academy High School Mock Trial Team, supported Rotary youth exchange programs, and was a founding board member and President of Safe Halls Project, Inc.
