Andrea Fischer

Andrea Fischer, founder of Fischer Legal Group, understands the complexities involved in qui tam cases, as well as commercial litigation cases. Ms. Fischer’s practice focuses on working with whistleblower claims, qui tam issues and fraud related to Medicare, Medicaid and other circumstances, in New York and in Florida. She also works with individuals and business owners on complex commercial litigation issues.

A seasoned litigator, Ms. Fischer has battled in the courtroom time and again on behalf of those she represents. She is also well-known for her negotiation skills, enabling her to save clients time and money. In either situation, Ms. Fischer deliberately sorts through the details of a case to construct a solid, compelling argument.

The business world is ever evolving, which is why Ms. Fischer makes a point to stay on top of emerging trends and case law. One way she does this is through her memberships in groups such as the American Association for Justice and The Anti-Fraud Coalition. She also shares her knowledge with accountants, financial advisers and other attorneys through speaking engagements.

Ms. Fischer is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York, along with the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida.

Ms. Fischer has been selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list annually since 2011. She has been the  Chairperson of the Qui Tam Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice. She has been a featured speaker at CLE presentations at a number of AAJ Conferences on Qui Tam Litigation.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Fischer received a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
