Anthony P. Gentile, a founding partner of Godosky & Gentile, New York, New York, has professional legal experience of over five decades. His areas of practice encompass personal injury, professional malpractice law, products liability law, ethics and professional responsibility, and litigation and appeals.
With an extensive track record of representing plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability cases, Mr. Gentile is known for his prowess in the courtroom. He has secured numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts, including a landmark $65 million verdict in a medical malpractice case in Bronx County, recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest personal injury recovery at the time. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role as trial counsel in a high-profile commercial case, resulting in a $21 million verdict after a five-week jury trial.
Educated at St. John's University School of Law, graduating in 1971, Mr. Gentile has significantly contributed to legal education through extensive lecturing on personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability. His experience led him to serve as a guest lecturer at Peking University in China on workplace safety.
Mr. Gentile is a member of the International Academy of organizations such as the American Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Columbian Lawyers Association of the City of New York and has served on the board of directors for the Association of Trial Lawyers of the City of New York.
