Barbara A. Sheehan

Barbara A. Sheehan is an attorney at Nicoletti Hornig Namazi Eckert & Sheehan, based in New York City, New York. During law school, she distinguished herself through her advocacy skills as a member of the Moot Court Board and the National Moot Court Team, experiences that helped shape her litigation practice.

Admitted to practice in New York since 1985, Ms. Sheehan represents clients in both state and federal courts. She is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of New York, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st and 2nd Circuits, and the United States Tax Court. Her broad admissions allow her to handle a wide variety of matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Active in the legal and local communities, Ms. Sheehan maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Legal Malpractice Section. Beyond her legal practice, she serves as secretary and a board member of the Fort Greene Park Conservancy.
