- This Note discusses the background and history of single-sex public schools; argues that single-sex public education violates Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; demonstrates that single-sex schools are unconstitutional, as it constitutes a contemporary unraveling of the 1954 United States Supreme Court case, Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka; and illustrates how single-sex schools will indisputably discriminate against transgender students and proposes an amendment to Title IX that will lessen the discriminatory impact against transgender students, if schools continue to permit single-sex educational programs., Author, Sex-parate But Equal? The Legality of Single-Sex Public Schools and their Discriminatory Effect on Transgender Students, Cardozo Journal of Law & Gender, 2013
- We presented to The Wing community regarding problems couples have requesting, negotiating and living with prenuptial agreements. We illustrated the financial and emotional benefits that soon-to-be spouses can actually gain from discussing and reaching agreements regarding their shared and individual financial futures. We offered suggestions as to productive ways to initiate a dialogue, key issues to be considered, and how to communicate in a way that invites an authentic and equally empowered conversation—thereby cultivating a clear understanding of expectations that fertilize and support the relationship rather than creating a breeding ground for resentment., Co-Presenter, The Power of the Prenup, The Wing, SoHo, 2019
