Carrie Anne Cavallo

Managing partner and founder of Cavallo Law, PLLC, Carrie Anne Cavallo represents clients in New York in matters of family law. With the ability to provide order and calm during intense emotional times, she spent the first part of her career as an attorney for the City of New York, prosecuting child neglect and abuse cases, and is passionate about protecting the rights and best interests of her clients and their children.

A graduate of New York Law School, she earned her Juris Doctor in 1999. Ms. Cavallo is admitted to practice in the state of New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. The American Bar Association included her in the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, and she is a member of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators.

Ms. Cavallo served on the Judicial Screening Committee of both the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association. She is also a member of various bar associations including the Brooklyn Bar Association, the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association, the Columbian Lawyers Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Catholic Lawyers Guild and the Trial Academy of Lawyers. Ms. Cavallo is also involved in pro bono work with the New York County Women in the Courts.  Ms. Cavallo previously served as President of the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association and continues to be actively involved with the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association on various committees.  

Ms. Cavallo is pleased to serve on the Character and Fitness Committee for the Second, Tenth, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts.
