Notably, she played an essential role representing roughly 40 health insurers in litigation against GlaxoSmithKline. The lawsuit claimed GSK knowingly manufactured drugs in facilities that failed to meet federal quality standards. The matter ultimately reached a settlement in 2019.

Earning her B.A. from Cornell University as a Phi Beta Kappa member, Ms. Finerty-Stelzner received her J.D. cum laude from Cornell Law School, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Cornell International Law Journal and won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy. Licensed in New York since 2014, she was a litigation associate at Patterson Belknap before clerking for Judge Raymond J. Dearie and later served on the Newark Police Division Consent Decree monitoring team.

Ms. Finerty-Stelzner chairs the New York State Bar Association Commercial and Federal Litigation Section's Civil Prosecution Committee and is an active member of the Anti-Fraud Coalition. A recognized thought leader, she has published in Law360 and advocated for expanding New York's whistleblower laws.
