Daniel Lipschutz

Daniel Lipschutz is a partner at Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP, in New York, New York, where he represents individuals and families in complex domestic and international family law matters. His practice encompasses high-stakes disputes involving divorce, child custody, asset division, child and spousal support, paternity, and sophisticated business and asset valuations. He is known for his strategic advocacy and has been consistently recognized in peer-reviewed surveys as a leading matrimonial attorney in New York and, more recently, Florida.

An experienced litigator and counselor, Mr. Lipschutz regularly handles cases involving cross-border and multijurisdictional issues. Mr. Lipschutz has achieved notable results for his clients, including securing the return of two Ukrainian children to a noncountry of habitual residence, obtaining an unequal distribution award in a long-term marriage that was affirmed on appeal, and prevailing on an abuse of process claim arising from the misuse of law enforcement to obtain exclusive possession of a marital residence – also affirmed on appeal. He has also successfully enforced an antenuptial agreement, resulting in a series of money judgments exceeding $60 million.

While maintaining strict client confidentiality, Mr. Lipschutz regularly represents high- to ultra-high net worth individuals, professional athletes and public figures. Mr. Lipschutz earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The George Washington University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern Districts of New York and Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
