His passion for sports extends beyond the courtroom, having guided combat sports athletes globally for almost 20 years. His dedication to education has also been evident in his role as an adjunct professor at New York Law School, where he also guides and inspires the Sports Law Society. Demonstrating his dedication to nurturing young minds, he proudly coaches the Goshen High School Mock Trial Team, leading them to county victory in 2023 and 2024.
Mr. Fish's legal adventure began after earning his undergraduate degree in criminal justice/law enforcement administration from the University at Albany in 1992. He then embarked on his legal studies at New York Law School, graduating in 1996 and swiftly passing the bar exam. His legal practice is anchored in New York, with admissions to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of New York, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
A respected figure within the legal realm, Mr. Fish has held esteemed positions such as past chair of the Employment Rights Section of the American Association for Justice and past co-chair of the New York State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section’s EEO Committee. His influence extends to the National Employment Lawyers Association/New York (NELA/NY) Chapter, where he contributed as an executive board member and edited the NELA/NY Employee Advocate newsletter. Frequently sharing his insights at panels and symposiums on sports law and contract negotiation, he is distinguished with a “Superb” rating on Avvo.
