Mr. Oddo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1986. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1989, where he developed a strong foundation in legal research. He honed his trial skills as an assistant district attorney and brought those talents to the civil courts, winning record-setting verdicts for his clients.
Admitted to practice in New York in 1990 and Connecticut in 1989, Mr. Oddo is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Oddo maintains active involvement in numerous professional organizations, including the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, where he is a Past President, and currently serves on the board of directors. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the New York County Lawyers' Association. Additionally, he is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Local Hospital $15 million settlement at mediation for 40 year old father of 2 who suffered a pontine stroke as the result of the defendant's failure to diagnose and timely treat plaintiff with tPA. Plaintiff confined to wheelchair and unable to communicate verbally. According to TopVerdict.com, it is the highest medical malpractice settlement in New York State in the year 2020.
- R.J., an infant, v. NEW YORK CITY HEALTH AND HOSPITAL CORP., $2 million settlement at trial for infant-plaintiff who was injured during his birth causing right brachial palsy with nerve damage. The defendant, negligently failed to deliver the infant via Caesarean Section, which was medically indicated due to the infant’s size and weight. Infant plaintiff sustained nerve injury limiting the use of his hand., 2019
- The Estate of A.F., v. Huntington Hospital, $960,000.00 medical malpractice settlement at mediation for wrongful death and brief period of pain and suffering arising out of the failure to diagnose and treat stroke in a 68 year old man. - Estate of J.A., v. Brooklyn Hospital Center. Case settled during jury deliberations after a 2 month trial for $2.7M for wrongful death of 48 year old man who died after bariatric surgery, as the result of an anastomotic leak. He left a wife and 5 children., 2017
