Diego Barros

Diego Barros is an associate attorney at Norinsberg Law in New York, New York, where he has been providing formidable representation since 2018. He concentrates his practice on personal injury law, medical malpractice and civil rights litigation, as well as employment actions. Driven by a deep commitment to justice, he advocates tirelessly for individuals who have suffered harm due to negligence or systemic misconduct.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barros spent nine years serving the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office in various high-responsibility roles, including Appeals Bureau Paralegal, Freedom of Information Law Officer and Grant Coordinator. He culminated his tenure there as an assistant district attorney in the Criminal Court Bureau. In this capacity, he conducted case intake alongside law enforcement officers, interviewed victims, drafted accusatory instruments and warrants, and handled arraignments.

A native Spanish speaker, Mr. Barros is uniquely positioned to serve and empower the Hispanic community, providing direct, culturally sensitive representation without communication barriers. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and he is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
