Douglas Curran

Douglas Curran is a trial lawyer and partner in the New York office of BraunHagey & Borden LLP. Mr. Curran provides representation and support to a diverse range of domestic and international clients faced with complex commercial and high-stakes financial disputes.

Mr. Curran has represented clients in a variety of industries, including financial institutions, investment firms, private equity firms, industrial manufacturers, and life-sciences innovators. Mr. Curran works closely with his clients to understand their business objectives so that he can provide the strategic and practical advice they need. He delivers customized solutions and strategies to help them achieve their goals efficiently and cost-effectively.

As a trial attorney, Mr. Curran has represented the rights and interests of both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the country, and he has negotiated favorable settlements for clients involving a wide range of disputes.

Mr. Curran also provides pro bono services to nonprofits and indigent clients, and he has advocated on behalf of the rights of underprivileged individuals in civil and domestic matters.

A 2006 cum laude graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Curran obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 2009, where he served as Articles Editor of the Duke Law Journal. He holds his license to practice in New York and Illinois, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of New York and the Northern District of Illinois.
