Frank L. Perrone, Jr.

Frank L. Perrone Jr. serves as co-chair of the matrimonial and family law practice and is a partner in the litigation practice at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, based in New York, New York. His practice encompasses all facets of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, child custody, asset distribution, spousal and child support, and domestic violence cases.  Mr. Perrone is a skilled trial attorney who regularly appears in Supreme Court and Family Court; he has also prepared and argued appeals of decision in family law matters in the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court.  

Mr. Perrone’s litigation experience spans over two decades, during which he has navigated a wide array of legal transactions and disputes in court. His skills extend to guardianship proceedings under Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law and Article 17 of the Surrogate’s Court Procedure, providing representation in matters involving guardianship of adults who are alleged to be incapacitated and to minors under the age of 18. His prior experience as an assistant district attorney in New York informs his strategic approach to the matters he handles, allowing him to effectively represent clients in complex legal disputes.

Also bringing his prosecutorial experience to criminal defense, Mr. Perrone represents clients in both state and federal courts and assists those under investigation. His background as an assistant district attorney from 1996 to 2003, equips him with the insights necessary for effective defense strategies.

Educated at Adelphi University and The City University of New York School of Law, Mr. Perrone is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Columbian Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association.
