A prominent legal figure at EEP Law in New York, Gennaro Savastano is renowned for his competence in appellate and personal injury law. As a partner on the appellate and complex motions team, he is dedicated to defending the hard-earned verdicts of his clients on appeal. Since being licensed in New York in 2009, he has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd and 7th Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Savastano's journey began on Long Island, where he grew up as the proud son of immigrants, learning the values of discipline and hard work in his family's pizzeria. He went on to earn his J.D., magna cum laude, from Touro Law Center in 2008. During his time there, he served as editor-in-chief of the Touro Law Review and was the president of Amicus: Gay-Straight Law Student Alliance. Fluent in Italian, he has always embraced his heritage and diverse background.
A true professional, Mr. Savastano's legal career was shaped by invaluable experiences, including clerking under the esteemed late Honorable Paul G. Feinman as a senior appellate court attorney for the Appellate Division, First Department, and as an appellate court attorney for the Third Department. His passion for the judiciary also led him to serve as an arbitrator for small claims in New York City Civil Court and as a reporter for the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court of New York Committee on Pattern Jury Instructions (PJI).
Before joining the exceptional team at EEP Law, Mr. Savastano spent nearly a decade in private practice, where he handled numerous multidistrict litigations and appeared before state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. His commitment to justice extended beyond the courtroom, as he served as president of the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York. In this role, he worked tirelessly to enhance the impact of the association's charitable arm, improve access to justice for marginalized communities and build partnerships with key stakeholders.
