James Wilson, Jr.

Prior to his association with Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, he was a partner at a national law practice with locations in New York and Atlanta and served as a senior associate at a Pennsylvania-based law firm.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has successfully represented institutional pension funds, corporations and individual investors across the United States, securing substantial recoveries in numerous securities class actions. Notable cases include In re ArthroCare Sec. Litig. (W.D. Tex.), which was settled for $74 million; In re Maxim Integrated Prod. Sec. Litig. (N.D.Cal.), which reached a settlement of $173 million; In re TyCom Ltd. Sec. Litig. (D.N.H.), resolved for $79 million and In re Providian Fin. Corp. Sec. Litig. (N.D. Cal.).

In addition, Mr. Wilson has achieved significant outcomes in shareholder merger litigation, as demonstrated in cases such as In re Zoran Corporation Shareholders Litig. (Del. Chancery) and In re The Coca-Cola Company Shareholder Litigation (Fulton County Superior Ct.). Additionally, he is a prolific writer, contributing articles on legal developments related to financial institutions, subprime mortgages and significant Supreme Court decisions published by Lexis Nexis.
