Jesse S. Weinstein

Jesse Weinstein is a Litigation Associate at Phillips & Associates. He is a sharp negotiator with a meticulous investigative approach to each one of his cases. As a result, he has secured millions of dollars in settlements for his clients through pre-suit negotiations, mediation, and litigation.

Prior to joining Phillips & Associates, Mr. Weinstein was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office, where he gained substantial trial experience as first-chair counsel in several jury and bench trials. He also led complex investigations and conducted dozens of hearings and grand jury presentations.

Mr. Weinstein also served in the United States Navy for four years as an Operations Specialist. After his enlistment, he completed his undergraduate studies at Pace University and attended law school at American University Washington College of Law.

Mr. Weinstein devotes his practice to the representation of current, former and prospective employees who have been the victims of discrimination or sexual harassment. He has also handled wage and hour violations as well as wrongful termination and other forms of prohibited retaliation. Mr. Weinstein’s discrimination cases have included claims under a variety of federal, state and local statutes. His experience has encompassed Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the New York City Human Rights Law, and the New York State Human Rights Law. Mr. Weinstein has worked on sexual harassment claims involving both quid pro quo harassment and hostile working environments, and the perpetrators have included co-workers and customers as well as management.
