Throughout that period, Mr. Reiter diligently composed numerous adept opinions for the presiding judge in various civil cases, with roughly 25 being deemed worthy of publication in the Official Reports of the State of New York. This exemplifies his unwavering commitment to his craft and meticulous attention to detail.

- Mr. Reiter obtained the highest verdict for a single passenger in the Egypt Air 990 crash ($3.6 million including interest). This case was the first to award loss of society damages to a victim’s sisters, brother and cousin as dependent relatives under the Death on the High Seas Act, in addition to awarding substantial damages to the victim’s parents. Mr. Reiter obtained million-dollar and/or multi-million dollar settlements for the survivors of 14 persons killed in the American Airlines Flight 587 crash at Belle Harbor, New York, including residents of the United States and the Dominican Republic. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee on that case.
