- I was admitted to practice in New York State, in 1992, and devote the substantial portion of my practice to matrimonial and family law. I earned my Ll.M. in Taxation from New York Law School in June 2014. My practice includes all aspects of trusts and estates, as well as individual taxation matters.
- I have litigated matters in the Supreme and Family Court in all 5 boroughs as well as surrounding counties, and have tried many cases to conclusion. In 2010, was counsel in the reported case, Brett R. v. Marla E.-R., 911 NYS2d 632 (1st Dep't 2010). I have been a partner of the firm of Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP since 2003. Special counsel, Hon. Marjory D. Fields, a retired Supreme Court Judge in the matrimonial part and Family Court judge, is the other member of our family and matrimonial law department.
- I am a member of the Family Law and Trusts and Estates sections of the A.B.A., N.Y.S. and NY.C. Bar Associations, and was certified in 1996 by the Academy of Family Mediators (now Association for Conflict Resolution). I have served on the following Bar Committees: the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Committee on Family Court and Family Law (1997-2001); the Inter-Disciplinary Forum on Mental Health and Family Law (1997-2000); the N.Y.S. Law and Practice Management Committee (2014 to 2020). I have also written and published a number of articles on matrimonial related topics, including most recently "Pre and Post-Nuptial Agreements in New York: Not Radmacher v Granatino", published in 2011 International Family Law 123 which I co-authored with Marjory D. Fields, Esq. I am a graduate of Columbia College, NY (1987); Tulane University Law School, New Orleans, LA (1992); and New York Law School, Ll.M. in Taxation (June 2014).
