After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ithaca College in 1979, Mr. Kool worked for several years as a commercial fisherman and in construction. He then pursued his legal studies at what is now known as New England Law | Boston and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1988. A New York native, Mr. Kool is licensed to practice law before the state courts of New York and Massachusetts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.
