Jordan Messeri

Family law attorney Jordan Messeri is a partner at the Krauss Shaknes Tallentire & Messeri LLP, which has offices in New York City, New York and Greenwich, Connecticut. From his office in New York, he serves clients in the neighborhood, assisting them with legal matters involving:

With extensive experience in handling matrimonial issues, Mr. Messeri has advocated for several clients before courts all across the New York metro area. He strives to reach an efficient resolution to each case, with his clients’ best interests in mind. Whether a matter requires strategic negotiation or aggressive litigation, he has the relevant experience in both out-of-court settlements and courtroom disputes. He holds a “Good” rating on Avvo. 

Graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a B.A. in international relations in 1998, Mr. Messeri went on to pursue his legal studies at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a recipient of the dean’s merit scholarship. Earning his law degree in 2001, he was licensed the same year to practice law in Connecticut and the following year in New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. 

A licensed practitioner for more than 20 years, Mr. Messeri is a member of several prominent legal associations. He maintains professional affiliations with the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the New York City Bar Association’s Matrimonial Law Committee.
