Jun Wang

Jun Wang is the founding partner of Jun Wang & Associates, P.C., and a seasoned attorney with a multifaceted legal practice spanning intellectual property (IP), real estate, art, entertainment, and China-related legal matters. She brings particular strength to trademark and copyright law, representing both corporate and individual clients in IP litigation and advisory matters. Ms. Wang has defended Chinese clients in U.S. federal courts against trademark and copyright infringement claims, managing complex cross-border cases that require navigating international evidence, procedural challenges, and expert coordination.

Her IP practice also includes brand strategy, licensing, rights clearance, and digital media counsel, particularly for clients in the art, entertainment, and technology sectors. With a strong academic foundation in copyright law, she delivers legal solutions that safeguard her clients’ creative and commercial interests across jurisdictions.

In addition to her IP work, Ms. Wang maintains a robust real estate practice. She advises on U.S. real estate investments, project development, funding structures, and refinancing transactions. Her clients include developers, high-net-worth investors, and Chinese enterprises establishing or expanding operations in the United States. She often serves as chief legal counsel to prominent Chinese companies and provides end-to-end support, from transactional structuring and contract negotiation to immigration and compliance matters.

Ms. Wang earned her LL.B. from Peking University School of Law and holds LL.M. degrees from both New York University School of Law and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is currently a J.S.D. candidate in copyright law at Cardozo. She also completed executive education at NYU Stern School of Business, equipping her with a sophisticated understanding of the business considerations that shape legal decision-making.

Her international expertise has made her a sought-after speaker at business and legal forums in China and the U.S., and she regularly lectures at institutions such as Peking University and the Central Conservatory of Music. She also conducts legal training programs for organizations with overseas assignments.

Admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Ms. Wang’s legal career began with a judicial clerkship at the Supreme People’s Court of China. This experience continues to inform her nuanced, cross-cultural legal perspective and her commitment to bridging U.S.-China legal and business communities.
