Karen Robarge

Karen Robarge is a partner at Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP, in New York, New York, where she focuses on matrimonial and family law. Her practice encompasses drafting and negotiating marital and prenuptial agreements, counseling high net worth individuals and family offices, and litigating complex domestic matters that implicate detailed financial valuation, support disputes and negotiated settlement processes.

With more than 35 years devoted exclusively to matrimonial practice, Ms. Robarge joined the firm in 2007 after maintaining her own firm and serving as a partner in the matrimonial department. Those roles refined her capacity to manage high-stakes matters and to coordinate multidisciplinary teams when financial and business valuation issues arise.

Ms. Robarge’s academic background includes a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law (1986) and a B.A., with highest honors, from Russell Sage College (1983). She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1987, and over the course of her career, she has combined courtroom preparedness with a pragmatic approach to negotiation, tailoring strategy to each client’s objectives and the particular facts of their case.

Active in professional governance and legislative matters, Ms. Robarge has contributed to the Matrimonial Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association and led the Subcommittee on Legislation. That committee work has kept her engaged with evolving statutory and procedural developments affecting matrimonial litigation and transactional practice.
