Ken Jewell

Attorney Ken Jewell is the founder of Jewell Law, PLLC, in New York, New York. Mr. Jewell practices exclusively in the area of family and matrimonial law, representing clients throughout the state of New York in matters involving marital dissolution, child custody, financial support, modifications, property distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, post-divorce actions and more.

Mr. Jewell earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hofstra University and a law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all New York state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Before founding Jewell Law, PLLC, Mr. Jewell served in a variety of other legal roles, including as a law librarian for the Nassau Supreme Court Law Library and a legal assistant to the chief counsel for the New York State Commission of Investigation. He also worked as a contract lawyer for firms in the New York region.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Jewell has been recognized for his contributions to the profession. He has been named Top Lawyer by New York Magazine and the New York Law Journal since 2018, one of the “Top Attorneys in Metro New York” by The New York Times Magazine in 2016 and one of the “10 Best” in terms of client satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Jewell is a member of the New York State Bar Association and belongs to the organization’s family law legislative committee.
