Kristina Giyaur

Kristina Giyaur is an attorney with the firm of MDRXLaw Sauchik & Giyaur, P.C., located in the lower Manhattan section of New York City. She focuses her practice on transactional law for the health care industry, counseling clients on regulatory and compliance issues as well as a variety of other operational, organizational and corporate matters. Ms. Giyaur also advises clients on matters such as the purchase and sale of medical and dental practices, pharmacies, ambulatory surgical centers and urgent care facilities.

Ms. Giyaur is experienced in negotiating agreements for services, employment and managed care for clients such as physician groups, pharmacies and hospitals. In addition to these transactional matters, she also has experience defending health care industry clients in malpractice cases, disciplinary and licensure proceedings, and white collar criminal investigations.

After graduating with honors with her B.A. from Hunter College of the City University of New York, Ms. Giyaur earned an M.A. from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. She subsequently earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and also studied international and comparative law at the Paris Summer Institute, a program jointly sponsored by Cornell Law School and Sorbonne Law School and held at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Ms. Giyaur is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

To keep up with developments in her field of practice and connect with her colleagues, Ms. Giyaur maintains memberships in a number of professional organizations. She belongs to the American Health Lawyers Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association and the New York Women's Bar Association.
