Laurence M. Rosen

Laurence M. Rosen is an accomplished attorney and founder of his eponymous law firm in New York City, New York. Nationwide, he represents investors in matters involving securities litigation, class action and mass torts.

Prior to establishing The Rosen Law Firm, Mr. Rosen garnered valuable experience and hands-on skills working in complex securities class action matters and derivative litigation cases at several boutique firms in New York City. He subsequently held a position as an associate at a Newark, New Jersey-based law practice, where he focused on securities and business litigation matters.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Emory University, Mr. Rosen went on to pursue his M.B.A. in finance and accounting at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Further, he graduated from the New York University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman in New Jersey and also acted as acting chief judge in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Having obtained his license in New York in 1989, Mr. Rosen has also been authorized to practice law in California, Florida, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. Additionally, he has been granted admission before numerous U.S. District Courts throughout the country, along with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th and 11th Circuits.

Mr. Rosen has secured numerous favorable verdicts amounting to millions of dollars for investors, solidifying his prominent position within the field and consistently attracting media attention. Notably, in 2019, he successfully resolved a class action through a substantial $250 million settlement, marking a landmark achievement involving a Chinese company. He was also instrumental in the successful resolution of a class action against an Italian-American multinational corporation, culminating in a substantial compensation of $110 million.

From 2019 to 2023, Mr. Rosen was honored by Lawdragon as one of the 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. Continuously demonstrating his legal prowess, he has garnered recognition from Law360, being acknowledged as a Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar in 2020.
