Margaret M. Donohoe

Leading matrimonial attorney Margaret M. Donohoe is a co-founder and partner at Donohoe Talbert LLP, a New York City law firm. Her outstanding legal abilities and high-profile cases have made her one of the most-recognized family law attorneys in the New York City metropolitan area. Over the past 20 years, she has represented some of New York's most prominent residents in their high-net-worth divorces, including former First Lady of the City of New York Donna Hanover in her divorce from former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Ms. Donohoe began practicing law in 1997 after earning her bachelor's degree from Yale University and her Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, making her one of the few divorce attorneys with an Ivy League education practicing law in New York City. 

In addition to representing Ms. Hanover in her divorce case, Ms. Donohoe also represented Guy Wyser-Pratte, an investment manager and shareholder activist, in his 2009 divorce.
