Michael L. Fried serves clients across the New York metro from the New York City office of the Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP, which has three other locations in New York – White Plains and Garden City and Hackensack, New Jersey. He is a partner at the firm and focuses his practice exclusively on family law cases involving:

After receiving his undergraduate degree in political science from Stony Brook University, Mr. Fried went on to study law at the Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He then passed the bar and was admitted to legal practice in the state of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court. 

A licensed family law practitioner for more than 25 years, Mr. Fried has been elected to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a barrister to The New York Family Law American Inn of Court. He also plays an active role in the New York State Bar Association’s family law section and the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.
