The founder and managing partner of Shelowitz Law Group PLLC in New York City, New York, Mitchell C. Shelowitz utilizes his vast experience of 30-plus years at his clients’ behest, helping them overcome their legal challenges with grace and poise. He is well-equipped to take on myriad legal matters pertaining to business and corporate law, business litigation, intellectual property law and corporate transactions, among many others.
Mr. Shelowitz completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany, where he pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. Soon after, he enrolled at the Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he honed his shrewd legal acumen and talents with the foresight of helping clients in the future. In 1991, he obtained his license to practice law in Connecticut, and a year later, he became licensed to practice law in New York.
A prominent figure within his legal community, Mr. Shelowitz’s practice has helped numerous corporations handle their sensitive legal issues across a wide range of industries, including entertainment and hospitality, software and music, and mobile and wireless telecommunications, to name a few. Furthermore, he has served as General Counsel at Ceragon Networks Ltd. and Senior In-House Counsel at Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd., a testament to the judicious approach to his advocacy.
Mr. Shelowitz is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition, he has gained admission to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 4th Circuits.
