Patricia Ann Harris

Patricia Ann Harris serves as special counsel at the law firm of Zetlin & De Chiara LLP located in New York, New York. Licensed to practice in New York since 1990, she concentrates her practice on administrative law and business/corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, business organization and management issues, succession, strategy and licensing matters. 

Delivering sound and knowledgeable legal counsel to architects and engineers, Ms. Harris provides tenacious and zealous legal services. With a firm commitment to her clients’ needs, she handles every case in an efficient and cost-effective manner. With a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College, Ms. Harris obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in corporate finance with distinction from New York University. She earned her Juris Doctor from New York University.           

Ms. Harris founded and is the CEO of LicenseSure LLC, which provides services to architects and engineers who are applying for business licenses. Before which, she served as the managing partner of Zetlin & De Chiara LLP from 2000 to 2013. 

Actively associated with prominent legal associations, Ms. Harris has memberships in the American Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York’s Construction Law Committee and the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. She serves as a member of the board of directors for the Global Design Alliance and the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. 

Ms. Harris has received numerous accolades for her exceptional legal work, including being named to the Outstanding Woman list by the Women Builders Council and was the recipient of the Women Worth Watching Award by the Diversity Journal. She was awarded the Sutherland Award by the Global Design Alliance for her contributions to the design industry.
