Paul M. Talbert

Respected attorney Paul M. Talbert is one of the founders of the esteemed matrimonial law firm of Donohoe Talbert LLP. Mr. Talbert is well-known throughout the New York City metropolitan area for his outstanding work in the area of family law and his focus on helping clients overcome legal challenges presented by divorce and child custody and support matters.

Mr. Talbert began his career in 1996 after earning his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and his approval to practice law in New York state. At the beginning of Mr. Talbert's career, he worked for one of New York's leading law firms in general litigation. However, two years later, he left the firm to focus his career on family law. He felt that this move would allow him to positively impact the lives of his clients on a more personal level.

It has now been more than 20 years since Mr. Talbert made the decision to focus on family law. His long record of success, dedication to justice and reputation for excellence led to his current partnership at Donohoe Talbert LLP. In addition, he has appeared on national television several times, including on "The View," where he discussed celebrity divorces, and on "The Early Show," where he talked about the increasing number of men who receive alimony as part of their divorce settlements.
