Robert Wallack's practice focuses on high net worth divorce and family law matters. He is the founder and principal of The Wallack Firm, P.C., one of the fastest-growing matrimonial boutique law firms in New York City. Mr. Wallack, who has been described as a “litigation powerhouse”, has been making headlines since beginning his career as a prosecutor in the Manhattan D.A.’s Office. Mr. Wallack was a member of the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence units and developed a strong track record of success - which led to his appointment to head the prosecution of many of the office's highest-profile cases.
In 2003, Mr. Wallack entered private practice with an Am Law 200 firm, concentrating in matrimonial and family law, before founding The Wallack Firm, P.C. in 2007. He has handled cases involving some of the biggest names in movies, television, fashion, sports and music, while also serving as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall Law School, and a faculty member of Cardozo Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.
Mr. Wallack provides advice, counsel and zealous representation regrarding issues such as divorce, equitable distribution, child custody and visitation, child support, and alimony. Mr. Wallack also assists people seeking modification to, or the enforcement of, existing agreements and court orders. And, he regularly prepares and reviews prenuptial, postnuptial and separation agreements, and helps victims of domestic violence obtain appropriate orders of protection.
He appears frequently on NBC's 'Today' show, ABC's 'The View' and CBS’ ‘Entertainment Tonight’ as a legal analyst and commentator. He is also a contributor to the The Huffington Post and serves as the legal advisor to ‘Blue Bloods’ on CBS, and 'General Hospital' on ABC.
Mr. Wallack is admitted to practice in New York, and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
