Robert W. Georges

Robert W. Georges is an accomplished civil and criminal trial attorney. He is one of the few attorneys who has settled personal injury cases for over a million dollars and also gotten acquittals on homicide cases at trial – having achieved each multiple times and in different jurisdictions.

Mr. Georges has done over 30 felony jury trials in state and federal courts throughout the State of New York. He has argued appeals in the First and Second Departments and he regularly represents undergraduates, graduate students, and professors accused of misconduct, including Title IX violations, in college and university disciplinary proceedings.

Early in his career, Mr. Georges served in both the Bronx District Attorneys Office and the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor where he was promoted at the top of his class and prosecuted thousands of high-level felony cases. He then practiced at a large international civil litigation firm handling lawsuits between publicly traded reinsurance companies.

Recognized for his success, Mr. Georges has earned numerous accolades and high ratings, including membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinction reserved for less than 1% of U.S. lawyers who have secured multiple million-dollar settlements.
