Sam A. Silverstein

Sam A. Silverstein is a Partner at the law firm of Kaufmann Gildin & Robbins LLP in New York, New York. Mr. Silverstein concentrates his practice on general and securities litigation, handling corporate finance and securities matters for clients in Manhattan and throughout the New York City region.

Mr. Silverstein has several years of experience and is committed to providing dedicated and focused representation. His clients include brokers, brokerage firms and investors. He guides each through the legal process and argues cases at the trial and appellate levels as well as before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. In addition to his experience as a litigator, he is familiar with arbitration and handles complex securities arbitration matters.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Silverstein stays active in his legal community through membership in various professional organizations. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association. He holds an active law license in New York and New Jersey as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Silverstein earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and management consulting from Emory University. He received his law degree from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to attending law school, he was employed by two broker-dealers. As a vice president of their private wealth management divisions, he was instrumental in managing and raising almost $20 million in capital for an advisory team.
