Steven Dorfman is a senior New York personal injury trial attorney with nearly 30 years of experience representing victims of catastrophic construction accidents, wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, and other serious negligence matters throughout New York City.

Mr. Dorfman concentrates on complex construction accident litigation involving scaffold falls, falling objects, structural collapses, crane incidents, and claims under New York Labor Law Sections 240(1), 241(6), and 200. He also served on the Steering Committee in the Metro-North Valhalla train accident litigation, contributing to coordinated strategy in one of the most significant transportation accident cases in New York.

Mr. Dorfman has argued more than 35 appeals before New York’s appellate courts and serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. His verdicts have been recognized in the New York Law Journal’s Top Verdicts in New York.
