Steven Fingerhut founded Fingerhut Law to bring something to plaintiff-side employment litigation that most clients assume they are getting and rarely receive: the named partner on the case from the first phone call through the verdict.

Steven has recovered more than $30 million for employees in New York and New Jersey through jury trials, settlements, and appellate victories. He represents workers in cases involving sexual harassment, race and gender discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, age discrimination, disability discrimination, LGBTQ+ discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, workplace sexual assault, and wrongful termination.

His recent results include a federal jury verdict in the Eastern District of New York in a hostile work environment case, defended on appeal before the Second Circuit; a $2,000,000 settlement for construction workers subjected to race discrimination; a $1,550,000 settlement for a content producer sexually harassed by a B2B marketing CEO; a $975,000 settlement for a bank employee harassed by her director-level supervisor; and an $800,000 settlement for a physician subjected to gender discrimination and unlawful termination.

Steven was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in New York every year from 2018 through 2026 and is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an honor extended to less than 1% of U.S. attorneys. He spent more than ten years at one of New York's largest plaintiffs-only employment firms, where he became partner, before founding Fingerhut Law to deliver trial-tested representation directly from the attorney whose name is on the door.
